A prefabricated compact substation consists of type-tested equipment, including a distribution transformer, medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, and protection devices, all housed within a prefabricated enclosure based on the EN61330 standard. These substations are designed and manufactured in various forms such as: metallic, sandwich panel, and semi-underground.

• The body of the substation is made of oiled or galvanized sheet metal, depending on the climatic conditions of the installation site.
• The thickness of all body sheets is 2.5 mm, and the thickness of the substation’s floor bases and columns is 3 mm.
• The body color is electrostatic powder coat RAL7032, with a paint thickness exceeding 80 microns.
• The floor of the substation is made of checkered aluminum sheet to prevent moisture transfer from the foundation or ground to the substation body.
